WasteWater Operator Requirements & Specifics

 
     
  This position is for contract operations for a period of 3 to 6 months and could become permanent employment, depending on experience and abilities. It is also possible that you could be used for construction of new plants at a later date.  
     
 

The position is 40 hours per week and covers weekend duty. Hours can be flexible, but primarily will be a regular daytime shift. Salary is dependent upon qualifications and experience and of course will reflect entry level or otherwise. (be realistic!)

We are looking for the following:

  • Level 1, 2 or 3 Wastewater certification preferred. Long term possibilities most likely for the higher level, but not an absolute. We are willing to train a properly suited entry level candidate.
  • Dedicated and responsible individual.
  • Prefer someone who would be willing to work as contract labor.
  • Reliable vehicle used between 2 sites. Mileage paid per government rate.
  • Computer literate and prefer you have a home computer for remote monitoring.
  • Ability to work alone and without direct supervision.
  • Ability to perform regular sampling and testing using Hach equipment.
  • Ability to enter readings in Excel spreadsheets and view reports in Excel.
  • Ability to perform general housekeeping and routine light maintenance.
 
     
  The wastewater plants we operate are brand new, state of the art facilities and this is an excellent opportunity to learn the trade or gain knowledge on the new membrane technology. These plants are located around the outlying Albuquerque area.
